5 Comic Book Movies To See In 2016
With so many new comic book films coming out this is going to be a year where you might need to make some hard choices. This year DC Entertainment looks to universe build a little more while Marvel are already onto Phase Three. Here are our 2016 picks that you should keep on your radar.
Captain America: Civil War
The Civil War series is one of the most loved comic book series of the last ten years. With Captain America going against Iron Man it'll be interesting to see how this affects future Marvel universe films. Will Tony Stark remain a full-on heel after it's all over? Isn't he already one?
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice
Batman vs Superman is taking cues from Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Rises. And that's a good thing. But the real hype here is Wonder Woman(Gal Gadot) making her film debut. There is a lot of debate surrounding this film and we'll see if DC can start to make it's own film universe.
Deadpool
The 'Merc with a Mouth' is finally getting his own film with Ryan Reynolds as the lead. The trailers for this are both hilariously violent and violently hilarious. Kick Ass pulled off a comic book movie that's designed for more of a mature audience. We'll see if Fox can do the same.
Suicide Squad
The general public has no idea who this team is but that doesn't mean it's destined for failure. Look what happened with the Guardians of the Galaxy. Come Halloween, I suspect you'll be seeing a lot of Suicide Squad Jokers and Harley Quinns.

Doctor Strange
Besides a teaser pic there's little known about the film. Marvel is bound to make a misstep along the way but let's hope it's not the Sorcerer Supreme. Benedict Cumberbatch stars as Doctor Strange which comes out on November 4 2016.
