Purchasing Something

When you sign up or make a purchase from our website, we’ll ask for and store your name, address, phone number, email address and contact preferences.

We'll share this with:

• The internal products we use to improve and make the site smarter, better, faster.
• The seller that you brought the product from so they can ship you your order.

What we don' share:

• We don't share your information with anyone else.
• Your credit card info NEVER gets stored on our servers and we have no visibility of it.

Selling Something

This is a little different as you're setting up a store and products for people to buy from.

• When posting products or your profile to Thwipster whatever you share in your profile(excluding payment information) is visible to the public and can be read, collected or used by other visitors to the website.
• Thwipster is not responsible for the misuse of any personal information that a person submits freely on our website through their seller profile. So please use good judgement.
• You are responsible for the personal information you choose to submit in these instances.
• The products you list will be viewable by the public once approved. You will, however, be able to disable those products and hide them from view.

Protection of Personal information

• We will protect personal information by reasonable security safeguards against loss or theft, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification. All personal and non-personal information collected by us during purchases is protected by a Secure Sockets Layer encryption.
• When posting to Thwipster's seller area, product comments or social networking service, whatever you share is visible to other users and can be read, collected or used by other visitors to the website. Thwipster is not responsible for the misuse of any personal information that a person submits freely on our website through the use of product comments or social networking services. You are responsible for the personal information you choose to submit in these instances. For example, if you list your name and email address in a product comment, that information is public and Thwipser is not responsible for the misuse of that information in any circumstance.
